It's with very great sadness that I have to report the passing of my friend Bob Thompson. Bob has been battling with a serious illness over the last few months and unfortunately lost his fight over the weekend. Bob has been chairman to the Langar model aircraft club for many years and was always ready to contribute to the wider model flying community He has left a hole in our hobby that just cant be filled . . The club was in his blood. He will be missed by all of us.
So sad. We have lost a lovely bloke. Always there to help and advise as he did for myself. There are so many of us that are thankful to have known him and his passing is a great loss. Rest in peace Bob, you will be remembered by so many. Tony.
Oh dear, sad to read of Bob's passing, as already said, he was a great bloke, models and aero modelling was in his DNA, he always defended what was right, a lovely friendly man, my condolences to his family.
