Below is the link to a short video (1min 40) showing the maiden flight of my Curtis Helldiver.
The model is scratch built from a blown up Jerry Bates plan.I started it late last year and it was finished by the end of march.
It spans 113" , weighs 35 lb and is powered by a Quadra 75. It has functional dive brakes, bomb doors and a bomb bay bug enough to accommodate a 2 litre pop bottle. It also had all 2500 perforations drilled by hand into the flaps/ dive brakes!
