hi Guys,
I bought the plans for the, Bud Nosen Mr Mulligan 108".
the more I looked at the plans, the more it looked a bit on the ( small side ).
all so the build side was a bit off.
please do not get me wrong, for its time it was a good build.
and so I set about redrawing it out, and made a lot of changes.
I am hoping to keep it down to 30lb.
I will make this one with a 50cc ( electric motor ) in it.
any way hope you like what you see.

Hi Robin several years ago I drew up this aircraft in autocad with the intention of making a 50% model (150") I got as far as cutting out the fusalarge formers, its big enough to sit in. A house move forced me to be sensible and stop building before it got too big. the plans are still on file and the formers stood behind my bench, I also have all the strip wood in store aswell.
If they are of any interest to you please feel free to get in touch, I have no intention of doing anything more on this project and would be happy to move them on.

it looks like you have put a lot of time and work in to it,

sorry not put many pic's on, as I am building it, as I have been flat out building.
I have change the shelf part by the, dash and moved it below, so I can move
the batteries for c.o.g , the weight so far with the wing tubes, is 9 LB 9 Oz.
I am working on the tail plane and rudder, I am making this removable, due to the size.
I must say it is starting to look more like the real thing now.

hi Guys
getting on now tail plane all most done, just top planking to do.
fin and rudder done.
to give you some idea of the size, of the tail plane, it is 1 metre long to the mm.
the removable box for the tail plane and rudder, is cut out and ready to glue together.
my intention is to mount the servos in, the removable tail box, so I just have the servos
leads to connect.
o well must get on.

This plane is definitely coming together very nice, I like the idea of keeping both rudder and elevator servos in the detachable tail box I take it nothing will be visible except the control rod on the rudder. Very nice.
You will be ordering the covering by the 50mtr roll for this plane, that's if it comes in this length, (I doubt it).

hi Guys
the removable box for the, tail plane and rudder is done, all ready to glue together.
I will use a mg 995 for the rudder, I have fitted a futaba S3301 1/4 scale, for elevators,
as this is the biggest plane I have ever built, your thoughts on the futaba S3301 servo,
will this be man enough to for the elevators ?.
just got to hinge, and fit the links.
