L4 Grasshopper

been working on this one for sometime but thought i'd share some progress......started life as a Sig 1/4 scale cub kit but now converted to a L4......lots of changes.....new cowl.....new interior......new rudder/elevators......lots more......just some trim to add to the greenhouse and other bits......got a laser 100 up front......cheers

Click on the 'Attachments' tab just below the submit button and you can upload your pictures there, add files and then place inline.
LMA Secretary - I've got a reasonable idea where you live!

been making the baffle covers from lithoplate.....sprayed gloss black as full size.....next complete the dummy exhaust....will CNC the patterns

Everyone thinks a piper cub type is a simple aircraft, i didnt know it had so much detail, fantastic Dave!

Thanks Alan.......this lovely little aircraft never seems to get the praise like a jet or spitfire......would love to work on a full size version......:-).....

took to the sky for the first time on Sunday.......flew really well.....very happy....
