Two to three weeks before the new wood arives. Hmm. Had another think about that, a new kit? that can be sent quicker and hopefully not leave me with a spare wing set costing almost half the full kit price. I might even find a buyer for one left wing skeleton plus the rest of the kit. Might even be better to keep it though, after what I saw happen to one at Longhorseley last year. No names no Pack Drill used to be the saying

I am keeping the hope high, that the new wood does arrive quickly. Machrihanish 6,7,8th May for my Sky 120? very much in the ballance now, as the busy season has started.

I have taken a few pics, and will likely add them on here. Bit tired just now, just back from Loch Earn Splash-in, which was "magic".

Awake you sleeping topic!

Dave, do you still have the pictures for this build as the ones at the start of the thread are not displaying? Certainly would be helpful if you have.

This is my first foray into large models, and on looking at the plans, my first thought was "I didn't think they made paper this big!" :D Good kit though, and looking at the uTube videos, it flies well, and with minor aerobatics (eventually). I'm part way through a Flair Cub build, covering (never done that before) and radio installation, to complete. This may mean the 120 may not start just yet, or maybe the Cub wont finish just yet :D . Anyway initial piccies would be a great help.

Thanks

Richard

Hi Richard, I do have them but it may take a bit of time to remember where I have stored them, we lost the originals in a server transfer and since it was an old thread I just didn’t bother to replace them. I will try and sort it as soon as I get a bit of time to look. Nice to hear you are building one.

Thanks for looking Dave. I'm sure I'll enjoy the experience of building a large plane.
