Hardly surprising with a Hacker 200, 14s 13,500 Lipo's + a sound system with another 3s Lipo & 3 x 4" speakers.......but did it fly well....yes it did :-)

No......no Gyro. This was built back in 2008-09......a little pre Gyro's in fixed wing stuff. It was also from my Ali Machinchy......& his thumbs were good enough not to need one!!!!

Rob - thanks a lot......Ali only flew it a handful of times (before he sold it to a new owner in the USA Aaron).......it did fly very well though. It wasn't short in the power department (Hacker 200 on 14s drawing in excess of 250A) + as Dave has commented, it was heavy......very heavy. In my book, this 'light is right' is way off the mark when Warbirds are concerned.

I agree, heavy does look better, problem is with 'toy size' the margin is less if something stops. electric is normally good...but not infallible! The foamie 4 s 2200 fighters from FMS are the best around because they are heavy! Still nice to fly, but brilliant training for a 'proper' mans warbird. We have a CARF Corsair with every option possible and it sits at 26kg, I expect it to fly and look great. I describe them as flying through the air and not on it...

Here is my old Yellow A/C P-38 at nearly 19kg! Fema on board starters with 2 x 10cell Nicad starters!!
No gyro (though could have done with a rudder one for the torque!)
