The new Yak flying was a joint build, And Paul at Kingfisher Aviation will build these models for people, and supply the new design retracts for the kit. the standard inside and out was superb, well done.

They look great but there's something missing. I think you need a red, white and blue one in the middle somewhere ;)

Not quite Stew. Mines just red and white at the moment. I need the Blue first. Oh and all the radio gear putting in and engine putting on ;)

Progress!

The only red left to do is the rudder stripes.

Yesterday I received the paint masks from Nigel at Flightline Graphics and today we got nearly all of them used.

Had a chance to fly my Yak this afternoon for the first time (Paul did the test flights), had 5 great flights and loved the sound of the Z80, tried a 23 x 10 3 blade but was found to over prop the engine so stuck to the 26 X 8 2 blade and it got better with every flight ( new engine ). It was fun building it so quick but even better fun flying, a couple of club members had a stir on the sticks and they also loved it and landings are a dream . Going out again Sunday, weather & wife permitting. Great aircraft Chris just what I wanted.

Dave
