Looking good Dave (machinest).

shame we could not fit them in to sort the new wheels for Dave in time scale.

just remember guys when put on mains ensure their is some air pressure to `load` the rear wheels to spread load.

Dave drop us a line when you ready again.

Cheers.

Hi Alan, I have had to settle for Silver steel due to delivery time on EN19T which I had planned to use, my supplier can get EN24T so I will make a spare set of axles when it arrives.

Morning Dave, just weighed one completed unit and it is 2lb heavier with the new wheels & larger Axles which is better than the projected increase considering I started with over 1/2 mtr of 75mm alloy bar weghing around 16lb.

Hi Dan---my plan was to try to make all the big shows this summer--at the moment its sat here awaiting a break in the weather to get the test flights done---i have several airfields on standby, but just no sign of a clear spell to make worthwhile arranging the transport and crew needed to get there---but to answer your question--really hoping to make Elvington---DAVE

One of the runways our illustrious leader has the honour of using is the runway that saw the first flights of all the Vulcans, what a fantastic honour, i hope it will be a week this sunday, i hope XM603, the resident Vulcan on the field has a smile, Dave has modelled XM603, if he starts weathering it now, he should be finished in about 9 days :D

RUMOUR has it, that today, at 2pm, yet another Vulcan graced the skys of this iconic jets birthplace, YES, the wooden triangle has flown, decision was made to go for it, in view of inclement weather, nosewheel was up in 30 feet, she rotated with ease, OODLES of power, weather brought the test flight to a short end, only problem was the nosewheel steer servo corpsed, unfortunalty, the rain from hell descended, and although the crew got her covered, rain got into the ECUs, and they are drying out at the mo, another atempt will be made sunday, where some members of the LMA will be lucky enough to fly off this historic runway, one strange thing, a lightning bolt smashed into the runway, nopt far from the Vulcan, cratering it, and showering the vulc with debris!!! OOER

Sure we all wish the boss & his team congrats on this long awaited event
