With only one day left before leaving for Pampa jets the Vampire is ready to go , at a later date I will fit all the missing retract doors and a nice pilot . As many of you mensioned to me at Cosford the booms are yellow not silver this is because I put the wrong picture up on an earleir post and not that I am to tight to buy some silver paint ,you can see my reg is different to the full size picture I used . I have added another 1/2 a pound of lead in the nose because of the painting to keep the c+g right , it now totals 59 pound so i'm more than happy with that , I will post some good shots in the air when I get back from Pampa if my camera man is upto the job.

Back from Pampa where the Vampire flew great ,I now have the retract doors to do and fit a pilot and seat , the last 6 months has been full on so I will slowly add the finishing bits over the winter .

That color scheme certainly stands out.
