thanks for the very kind offer, much appreciated. for now i am sorted spent the weekend programming my TX , and setting up my services test model with all the channels, all working except fail-safe/kill switch which is on order.

if u have age that much, u will only give yourself a hernia LOL typing, or something worst, LOL


seriously frsky have a similar module for about £65, i dont have the cash for that at present or i would use it

hi all

need to set the throws on my chippie it is a black horse chippie got these from the manual

the CoG is 130mm from LE

please confirm is these will be enough

ail - 15mm each way
elv - 15mm " "
rud 20mm

flaps ?

I would have to fly it, to judge control surface movements, but lookng at your figures, i think thecailerons are to much, the elevator about right, and the rudder double the amount you say, flaps? Who knows, you need a try it at height movement

i will set thes a 100% throws and set up mid rates and low rates as well thanks alan

Richard...are you in a local club? If not, it might be worth seeking one out. The kind of questions you're asking and test flights etc are best answered first hand at the field rather that at a distance and occasional shows/fly-ins.

no i am not in a club but i am trying to set one up locally

i have been looking at different clubs for alternative

the nearest club to me that allow IC and larger sizes are about 45 mins drive or more,

A short hop of about 20 minutes down the A46 from Newark will get you to Langar who are all a decent bunch and the site is superb.
