The spit was put on the back burner to build a certain Hurricane and then restore a Corsair. It'll be back on the board soon though

Not at all. The twisted glass fuz was binned and this one was built properly by not following the plan!!

With the Spitfire now finished I suppose I'd better get Steves P47 done, I'll be back on it towards the end of next week, so more piccys on their way and I've got to maintain the lead over team Veasey.

So, what scheme have you picked Gregg? Tell me it's not "Tar Heel Hal" or "No Guts No GLory"

Mine will be back on the bench tomorrow night with the fuz getting some black lines to match the wing!

Oh, and I can tell you I'm not doing that other scheme either! :D

Only one pic but you know what black lines are. The fuz is now now complete. All that leaves is the belly pan, pylons and gear doors still to panel line then the riveting riveting job begins!

More detail than it had originally so hopefully it will be an improvement

It's getting warmer Gregg, you'll soon have to start throwing paint at it. I've suffered a little set back after I discovered the kill markings had gone on wonky, so I'm waiting for a new set of masks to arrive from Flightline Graphics.

Well tonight I finished all the panel lining and started adding a bit of detail to the cowl. Over the next couple of days my dad will chuck some primer over the lines so that next week I can bring it home and start riveting.

As hoped Veasey senior has used the good weather to my advantage and got all the primer on :P

I'm in the workshop Friday so will be able to get all the black tape off and add the metal tape panels
