Just got off the phone to Chris ordering my kit, he recons on 2 weeks to do it so I will have time to design & make my retracts to fit before it arrives. He has confirmed that my Z80 twin should fit, has anyone tried one yet ???? can,t wait to get started.

Blimey Dave, 80 cc in a 23lb model :) With the 62s in, we fly on 1/3 power and full on they go vertical for some time before they run out of puff.
Good luck though.

Pond sealer is a myth. The only place for it is in a pond.
It's got no use in pro model making.

My retracts arrived this afternoon (in kit form) all 5 meters of it, all the other bits are stock items I have on the shelf. I will show a design & build on this set. I don't have a 3D package to create them only the 2D view on the machine which I can sort of animate to help get angles etc correct.

I think you are gonna be busy Dave.
When you get your kit, have a look to see if you could do a trike (Yak52) set up plz. As I fancy one of those now aswell.

Just had a quick look and they are weird a bit like the FW190 in reverse x 3. but could be done simple without the locking arms.
