DHC Chipmunks around the world flight

I have decided to re paint my current 1/4 scale Chipmunk to represent WP833 H the other was WP962 C

This is one of two Chipmunks converted in 1996 to carry out long distance flights as part of the 1996 Operation Northern Circle and 1997 Exercise Northern Venture. In May 1997 they carried out a record breaking around the world flight.

I am in contact with the current owner an ex RAF Pilot who lives in CA and the aircraft is hangared at Flabob

I am prepped to airframe now and will start the paining soon. Nigel from Flightline Graphics once again doing the decals for this.
