Hello Richard

Thanks alot that would be very helpfull, and your B-25 looks very nice so good luck with the maiden.
I have had the smaller brother (101 inch) and it flew great very nice airplane to handle.

Here is a small video of it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Iu1AQkf7nNU

Hope to hear how the CG turns out.

Best Regards Henrik Hammer.

Hi Henrik,
Spoke to Colin, the builder of my B25, he told me the C.G is as the plan. He has built 3 of these in total, and always balanced them as per the plan.
I hope to maiden mine in February, when I have finished my current project.
Hope this helps.
Richard.

Hello Richard

Thanks alot, I have balanced mine as per plan too, and it seems the way to go. We have very bad weather here in Denmark at the moment lots of snow and freezing cold I hope to maiden mine April-May, good luck with yours, hope to hear good news, but I have never heard of a bad flying Ziroli model.

Again thanks for info and Best Regards Henrik

I'd rather be flying your scale than this one guys.
Under powered the pilot must of been guessing by the time it became airborne .
An impressive achievement nevertheless .

Hello

Yes it is a great model but seems to struggle a little with the power dont know if they could change the pitch on the propellers to get a little more speed.
Here are a couple of videos of the model we have I hope mine flies like these seems very stable one of the guys flies it like a fighter not sure it is scale like for a bomber but speaks for the handling of the model (and the pilots skill).

Yes.......because it didn't fall out the sky. But was it flying fast enough to look right......uhhhhhh, NO !!!!!!!

This clip I think is from the same people......testing the 2 Moki 400's on a rig. The text quotes 42" x 10" 3 blade props......if this is what they are flying on, it may have A LOT to do with the lack of speed. The 400's don't rev much past 4,000 flat out.......on 10" of pitch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_vfdhFYmmlo

When running the 400 in the big Skyraider, I was running a 39" x 25" 2 blade prop........and the Raider even at 82kg's wasn't too shabby on top end speed.............

Hello Graham are you sure that Vallach engines do a 500cc,i've searched there site and they only list 420cc,800cc and 1250cc radials or is it a new addition to there range?.

Cheers,Dave.

Hello

Congratulations on your maiden glad to hear it went well. I have had mine outside for some photos in the spring sunshine and to make the initial start up of the engines. I had a little set back on my canister muffler system the headers are way to short so the engines cannot run on that system, so its back to the workshop and I am at the moment building some in cowl mufflers. I tried the engines with the supplied mufflers from the factory they run great but the factory mufflers are way too noisy for flying here in Denmark.

Here are some Photos of Panchito in the sun https://plus.google.com/photos/111994526239439977373/albums?banner=pwa&gpsrc=pwrd1#photos/111994526239439977373/albums/5861897243697068001

I will hopefully be able to post more about my maiden in a month or so.

Best Regards Henrik Hammer

Hello Paul

Thanks, my model has not flown yet I am at the moment working on a new set of mufflers for the engines, but I hope to fly it within a month or so. I hope to be able to post some photos and a video at that time.

Best Regards Henrik
