Hi guys, this is my actual project. At this moment I have to finish the painting scheme and then I'll have to wether the model.
I think Ziroli plans are a good start point for a scale model, I have make some changes about the project. The first change was
about to hide all control horns, the elevator one has been the most difficult (I know that I'll have more weight on the tail) but
I want hide the linkage, here below some pics about the elevator movement. (sorry these pics are too little I know)
Then I want to replicate the same control horn about the ailerons, the first pic is about the real one and the second about my Jug

...these others details about my project.....I used the Reeves's rails to have the sliding canopy, and this is the pilot and his four point seat belts.

The plane will be powered by a DA 85, my intention was to use a Moki 150, but it was too large and too heavy for a 92" (the Meister Scale P-47 should be perfect for this engine)
however I ask to Wayne of Solo Props to make me a four blade prop, this is it.
I bought the scale gears and wheels from Sierra (sorry I haven't pics at this moment).
I am using the Federal Standard colour reference.
This is all for the moment.
Cheers
Fabrizio

Looks stunning - nice choice of scheme Zemke's Wolfpack.
Can't wait to see it finished.
