The 'bit missed with the iron' was done on purpose, if you look at a lot of the old photos the covering at this poz seems to be pretty crap on most. So I made it crap aswell!

Test flight done today, Couldnt have asked for a better flight! it went really well. The 33.5 lb ( no ballast needed ) model handled well and the geared 38 was just right.
One thing that did catch me out tough was that somehow I had managed to fit a fuel tank with no clunk! An old one that I had laying about that I must have borrowed the clunk from, funny how the smallest silliest if things can bight ya bum. Luckily the fuel starvation problem was found on the ground before the flight.
Piccys and vid to follow soon.

Hello All,
I'm not often pushed to make a comment on Forums, but this is something special.
Everything on the model looked right. Ken's flying was (as usual but don't tell him
) was also great.
Well done Ken (and Sheila showed what she thought of it yesterday).
Great model, well built and well flown. Look forward to seeing more outings of it.

Looks like Bonzeys "heavy metal" days are drawing to an end, theres no more talk of building big Corsairs. He loved flying the SE5 yesturday, think it will be pipe and slippers at the field before long. Well done mate it sounded good too
