Cheers Dave, mine will be at Weston, but it isn't flight proven enough to be unleashed on the public just yet!! The scheme is definately unusual and the reason for the model, the real one was sponsored by Bassetts of Sheffield for participation in CWA Scotts Flying Circus during 1935 / 36

It took some serious organising to get the jet liner to fly by at the right moment. Pat.

Just taking a second look at that Mossie fuse, are the two halves now glued together? I hope you don't mind my two penneth(I'm sure plenty of people are going to tell me I'm wrong) but personally I think it would have been easier and safer to skin them both whilst they were pinned to the bench. Skinning it now with so few stringers could easily lead to the fuselage twisting.

Stewart.

Hi Stewart,
They are not glued together yet (lots of black clamp in pictures). This was done to line everything up in the two sides, all the sheeting and control runs etc will be added before the sides are joined.

On my first mossie the wing incidence, washout came out all wrong and couldn't be corrected without chopping up the fuselage and remounting the wing boxes. Everything was checked during the build and matched the plan so something went wrong somewhere (my building probably :( ) If i built another one i would build the wing boxes and wings first then build the fuselage around them to ensure everything was correct, this would be tricky as the fuselage is very flimsy until sheeted.
