Hi Guys and Girls
Quite a bit ago I started a thread off for a turbo raven, but due to other commitments, and working with Richard to make a lot of modifications to the prototype the thread never got going.

We have now hopefully finally got something that will hopefully resemble the finished production kit.

We have worked on getting it as light and strong as possible using mostly his 3mm laser ply.
The original went together well as a frame but I felt it was too heavy and a little complex for a kit, so I stopped working on it and told Richard what needed altering, and this is where we find ourselves

I will be starting the build tomorrow morning and tacking everything together.

The prototype is 97" wingspan
I will be either using a 110 cc twin or a big vegetarien setup ;-)

A few features of the model that immediately spring to mind are
Two piece removable wing- with split aileron and flaps although flaps will work as a aileron aswell
Two piece tail
Frieze aileron hinges
Can be made round a petrol, electric or turbo prop.
Removable rudder
Removable undercarraige
Fibreglass gel coated cowl and spats
Clear canopy
Fibreglass undercarraige
And the final kit will come with the full raven decals to make life easy.

all these pictures were after 3 hours of building, i have since added all of the stringers and started sheeting, but them pictures are on my camera at the minute.
