Well we got one of them in the air today at least. Chris has engine problems with his and sorry to say did not manage to get in the sky.
Mine on the other hand went vary well, with three good flights this afternoon. The Z62 being enough to take the 24lb model vertical for some distance before it runs out of puff.
The stall was just a gentle nod and all he usual aeros were tried, along with some flicks etc.
So another good model from the Willis Warbirds.
Would be a good large model trainer me thinks.

Another great result from the Willis Warbird factory, these are going to sell like hot cakes as soon as people see them fly.

Well done on producing that one.
Vince, having had a Greenly and a Lowley I think that this Yak is up there with them as far as a large model trainer goes. Simple to build and the flying charatistics are vary similar.
The test flights went vary well on Sunday, the stall was non existent and I was able pull quite tight in the turns at silly low air speeds and not a sign of it wanting to bite my a$%e. This one just looks like a propper airplane.
One other thing, this model was never intended to be used as a trainer, It just seems so right though that it could be .

Chris has just had two good flights with his Yak today, this will be the biggest selling kit in 2013.
Well done Willy.
Is anyone else building? it's all gone very quiet on this forum. Or did everyone get put into hibernation at the agm?
