Well I all this started from buying a front nose leg from Daren Langwade
His Cessna sadly went in at Cosford some time ago so we chatted and I purchased the leg and went for it.
I have had great assistance from Leion at Belair with Plans etc and SLEC.
So some photos on the build
Cheers

Elevator carbon push rods tried and tested, servos in.
Rudder servos in and tube for close loop to exit rear of plane.

Have a search for pictures of G-SAMZ it was my boss's C150 in the early 80's and from memory it had a nice Eagle logo on the fin.

This was taken many years ( 20+) after I last saw the A/C the main colours are different from my distant memory but the "Eagle" is still present.
That Red/White/Blue scheme was a factory one for several 100 series A/C I used to work at Cranfield for Rodgers aviation who were Cessna main dealers

Hi Nigel,
I am doing the 152 which has some differences in shape but looks nice.
Started to cover top side of wings now so I can see the end of the tunnel.
Decided to cover now in Profilm not Glass it.
Ordered Cockpit hardware from AeroCockpit seats etc.
Many thanks for you comments
Regards

That one was a 1960's 150D but basically the same as the later 152's
I'm currently converting an 82" C337 the push me pull to electric and I'm trying to get the main U/C to retract. This is covered in profilm and it's a good finish and I'd guess a lot lighter than glassing and paint job?

Hi Nigel,
Yes I have used Profilm before and it is very easy to use and as you say keeps the weight down.
So now have wings fully covered, leading edge on and shaped.
Weighed her to see what she was looking at the moment so with:
Laser 360v motor
8 x Servos
Fuel tank and all plumbing and what you can see, she comes out at 21 LBs so think at the end she will be about 28 Lbs

Well have started to install the Navigation Lights I have purchased a few Lights from Paul over the last few years and always had great service.
The System I have got for the Cessna is his Modern aircraft Lighting kit together with the 3 Stage Servo switch which allows you to switch on each channel independent.
Once completed I will do a Video showing the lighting system
Cheers
