Thought i would share with other members what i am working on at the moment, yes not huge in the grand scheme of most models on here but for electric i think it is a sizable size.
Airbus A-380
4 x edf's
6 foot wingspan
will have retracts
Qantas scheme awaiting rest of the decals

Stu looks great, you might be interested to know that i worked for Airbus back in the mid 1980s as a commercial model maker.
I was the first person in the world to make a model of the A-380, used for the Paris airshow static diplay on Airbuses stand in 86.
At the time it was coded the A-xx1 and we all said back in the workshops that it would never be built.
How wrong we were..............
Cheers Mike.

Stu,
hoping to maiden on friday to eb able to fly at cosford, but we will see. The scale u/c has not arrived yet(22 wheels and retracts) so looks like it will be flown if it flies on fixed u/c of 6 per side and 2 on nose wheel
Should weight about 6lbs auw but a lot of wing and as it will have 200watts/lb power will not be a issue and the steep climb out that is expected of the real one is do-able with this one.I will be installing scale lights as well, but as i only recieved the model on friday gone its been quite a rush to get everything done.
I have a twin edf su-34 thrust vectoring jet i am getting ready as well so with running the webshop and trying to get all these models ready there are not enough hours in the day

Here are some more pictures, one with my son holding it to give some size perspective, plus the su-34 and my lander Hawker Hunter with 6s1p and a tad over a KW power with split flaps and full retracts.

Andy,
Have ordered 5000 pairs of glasses for the spectators to wear whilst i fly mine , they have 10x magnifying lenses, this should make mine seem bigger than yours:):):):)
on a different note, have installed some u/c not the scale ones but all i can do in time for Cosford.
included a picture of what the scale ones look like as well.
Grant
Andy can i have a fly with yours if i let you fly mine??????

Andy,
Bad news i have just bought a FIat Ducato, the high top one and this now means i have laods of room to store models especially big ones,so your extra garage space wont be required
Its tuesday night and have the following still to get done before cosford
connect all leads and linkages up in Airbus, tail kangaroo sticker still not arrived from supplier in china(not impressed)
install 9ch rx into su-34 and figure out how i can mix the thrust vectoring on the su-34 to work on elevators and aelirons
Try and get the 3DD built for static display at the very least now i have avan big enough to actually transprot it:)
do all the mixing and install servo reverser for split flaps on hunter
install air deflectors on my Harrier to get better thrust out the rear tubes

Still no decals arrived yet:(
Looks like i may not have the large kangaroo on the tail in time.
Which will be a pity as it is a big part of the scale scheme

Good luck Grant, its not a lot bigger than the we made back in 1986.
If I dig out a picture i will up load it.
We were'nt meant to take pictures of our work untill they were released at trade airshows.
My camera which just happened to be there, would click without me knowing
