Looks and fly brilliantly Dave, well done and congratulations on its maiden, maybe you could do us a couple of short articles on your building techniques for the LMA Journal, I am sure they would be of great interest to many including me.

Now i know it flies well i have started making some detail pieces for it,started with the guns,in the past i have used the Balsa Usa guns which are good and give a good effect for a gun made of wood. This time i decided to try and make them from scratch, the main focal point of the Spandau is the barrel shroud,so i started with this.I cut two pieces of litho exactly the same size and taped them together, marking all the holes took an hour and a half,i then drilled all the holes out then cut out between the holes with a stanley knife,i just have to tidy it all up with a needle file.I then rolled them around a piece of tube cut a 5mm strip of litho and glued it over the joint with Isol.
