Dear Terry. .FYI the former with the holes is the wrong shape in micks kit...it should be somewhere between the one in front & behind it...the high back spitfires had a curve inwards where the small rear cockpit window is...you will find it very hard to get this shape once sheeted unless that former is corrected. ..the he mick Reeves one is egg shapped. .I will post a pic of the correct shape. ..rob

Yeah I kind of gathered that. Jim has offered a new shaped former for there but I'm a little too far in for that. I've changed the shape of the former with the holes in and the next but one behind it. I know it's not perfect scale but I'm sure it will still look like a spitfire.

Update!!!! The spitfire has passed its final inspection today. So ready for maiden flight when the paperwork returns.
