ZDZ Reduction Drive

Postby David Brown » January 7th, 2016, 7:12 pm

Over Christmas I started a new project to help out a fellow LMA member with a big project in mind, to power this project he wanted to use the ZDZ 90 RV with a reduction drive. After a bit of head scratching we agreed on a new crankcase to carry the drive and keep it compact. This is the outcome, I am testing it on Polly V belts but will also trial the Gates G3 toothed belt set up.

hi david,
very impressed with this. i am considering a project that would (i think) require a 100-120cc with a reduction drive. ideally a drive that could be bolted on as opposed something like this. is this something you might be able to help with?
cheers

Yes Nick, its just a case of selecting a suitable engine which will accept a bolt on structure. ZDZ have done it on the apposed twins and I am looking to fit one to their 210 in line.
