3rd project for refurbishment

1/4 scale Robin Regent

few minor issues like the canopy is cracked and needs fibre glassing inside to stabilise

2 batteries need replacing, tank needs an overhaul and check over new clunk and tubing

2 rx set up again

to my surprise it has a twin 80cc Zanoeh with easy start,

is there anything i need to know about the 80cc twin?

Where do you get all these models from Richard? They all seem quite nice but all need some work.

i got them as a job lot last year

they where all flyable, i like to go through them, check everything over
clean the tanks check servos change batteries, etc,

just to be safe

i just don't want to lose any

a couple was in storage for a year unused the tanks need replacement

the tank on the robin needs overhauling and a few minor paint touch up

What span is the Jodel?

At 1/4 scale that'll make it about 7ft". With an 80cc up the front its either heavy or way over powered.

not sure which kit this is

need a new 22oz dubro tank but funds are very tight

101" wing

6-6ish on the fuse

think it might be a ESM kit, but not sure, its fibreglass and built wing i am hoping to have this one ready for Elvington for static at elvington possible test flying.....?????????

Buy a new bung and clean the rest off, the HDPE will be ok.

possible but looking at the ESM kit its leaning more that way i think i have found the manual for it?

i just found a 1/3 scale version which is sweet as a nut for a tow plane

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tFolRQMlxAc

just wondering if its worth adding a tow point? probably not at this time?

I think you'd be best off doing some flying first Richard before attempting to tow!

not bad in...five years? At that rate you'll be towing by 2050.

Ihave been watching this thread with interest and know exactly which model that is, as i had one myself and i still have the information sheet that came with it. By the way it should have GRP wheel spats, but i guess your not bothered about that.
