Angled petrol fittings **NOW FIXED UP THANKS**

Postby Steve Vodrey » December 15th, 2016, 11:09 am

I am struggling to get some right angled fittings to vent my square SLEC fuel tanks I am fitting to a model from the underside. The straight ones will not do the job.
Any ideas where to get them?

Specifics: are they threaded or do they push through a bung?

Thanks Rob the fittings are threaded. They need to be fitted to the top to maximise the tank capacity.
I need the vent pipes to run forwards across the top of the tank.

Fixed up now.
After extensive research Tettra 4207 3mm 4mm right angled nipple fittings do the job.
They are available from Japan through Amazon.

Just for future reference the one you showed are Miniature Aircraft USA angled tank fittings.

(The Graupner tank 272 is 1ltr) The nalgon bottle is used by several manufacturers.

I know you are sorted now, but I came across these tanks.

Might prove useful for future reference.
