Flying Legends 1/4 scale MK9 Spitfire

As Ive had so many enquiries I felt compelled to add these images so you can take a look on the forum.
1. Ken"leave the flaps" Bones about to touch down.
2.MK9 after evening sortie.
3.My MK9 PRU.
All moulded all detail in epoxy resin.

Yours truely on the right , with the ex Squadron leader of 315 "Polish" at the unveiling and dedication ceremony for Polish Fighter pilots at Ruislip October 07.
Thats a Flying Legends Spitfire used as the new memorial.

Here is Ken Bones with his excellent combat MK9 Summer 2008 to give some scale to a 25% scale Spitfire , thats 112" 2.8m wingspan.

Here are the MK 9 kit contents.
Near to the front of the fuselage moulding you can see a TX to lend scale to the parts.
Thats 2.8metres span, All detail, all moulded, all British, just like the real thing.

My new MK 5 which is coming on nicely will be finished as the famous Polish 303.

Thought I would post these after three sorties with Ken on a practice day up at Baldock in May.
Ideal conditions and the field to ourselves meant we could get close in, circuit after circuit.
So good, we were even looping in formation show centre.
Many thanks to Ken for his team support, North london club for the air time and Barry Watson's top photography.
Second picture begs a caption contest, winner receiving a Flying Legends polo shirt , all in good taste mind.....
