wing tube in FG

hi all

this is my first attempt at making a wing tube

8 coats of wax and 2 coats pva

first 3 layers of 4 oz tape

Not the neatest job but its learning curve

any advice on finshing

if dimensions are off 2 small, can i add layers once

if it too big i can sand down

time for a cuppa and wait till tacky 30 -40 mins

2 more layers and a finishing layer then sanding

epic failure not the best and totally the worst

start again if i can get it off the tube

2nd attempt

had to cut the last one off with a Dremel lesson learnt

a slight mod

could not get hold of standard parchment had to go foil back with paper down

using pdf Alan supplied fingers cross

bit rough sanded and fit perfect after a bit of titivation
