Gee Bee trio

Its a bit quiet on here so I thought that I would post these two pics of John Braithwaite's building activities of recent months.

Not just one 100" Gee Bee racer but three identical airframes. I believe that these are a scale up of the ARTF models that were widely flown by the 'Gee Bee Racing Team' at the shows in past years. Included in the pics are the remanufactured undercarriage legs, one spat which has been used as a pattern and a new mold made.
The Saito 84R3 is intended for JB's own example, the rest anything in the 50 to 60cc bracket

I find building just one example of an airframe taxing enough let alone three!

Photo taken today with strict distancing measures employed

Regards to all and fingers crossed that we shall all be let loose soon
