Dave. Wondered if you could persuade someone to do a build project on the jet forum page.

Hi Guy's , to be honest it's quiet on most of the forums, I think it's to do more with the recession the country is in, Jets are an amazing part of the hobby but also the most expensive, and as things in general have got hugely expensive, the cost of living, fuel etc. a lot of people have tightened their belts, if you look on the jet for sale pages, nothing is hardly moving, whereas this time last year models were being bought and sold left right and center.

I don't actually build models from scratch, mainly strip and refurbish existing airframes, so didn't want to hog or fill up the threads

but I have more airframes to refurbish as and when time and funds become available, so will add something then.

cheers,

Vince.

I dabbled with the idea of getting a Jet and regretably realised they are at least twice maybe three times as expensive as a ww1 ww2 model. I can buy around three ready to fly built up WW1 or WW2 planes just for the same price as the parts to do a boomerang...

There just isn't that yearning for me to justify that manifold increase. Perhaps one day eh?
