AGM, ‘are you coming’

Postby Dave Parry » November 3rd, 2011, 12:01 pm

This Month is the AGM and although I try my best to advertise it on the website we still don’t seem to get a big turnout, don’t get me wrong a lot of members turn up every year but when you think we have over a thousand of you the turnout is small.

So will you be supporting us this year? or will you leave it to someone else to do it for you.

Better late than never I suppose  I would guess a fair number like me live a long-ish way from the venue and may have my problem,,, not a big retirement income. I have never been able to fully understand why members of any club who could go to an AGM,, don't :(

Keep it going Dave, you are doing well.

If any of you who can't make it would like to be immortalised in the minutes under tha 'Apologies' section, please send me an email. With the note from your mother explaining why you can't be there!
LMA Secretary - I've got a reasonable idea where you live!

If you got a note from my mother you are most likely to need Pants, Trousers, Socks and Shoes. Getting there, Overnight stay, and Back, would cost half my Monthly income  I do not believe I am alone.

Sorry folks, rant over.
END.
