Inspired by Gregg and Mike I thought I had better get that Cowling done, and now onto the wing fairings.

its probably worth checking they work in mode 1 as well as mode 2 before you sell them!! ;)

You'll be alright Gregg, it's German, therefore it's already left hand drive.

Wing fairings now done, I shall be bringing this model to Gaydon on Sunday, all in primer with engine and retracts in, looking forward to the event, anybody feel free to come and have a look or a chat

Thanks Simon, yes she's a good girl :D Next job will be to wet and dry all that green off back to the primer for a flat finish ready for the big paint job. :?

Come on Willy, wheres the new pics, apparently this model is now ready for surface detail and is as smooth as ten smooth things in a smooth thing competition.

All the green dust cover of paint has now been flatted back, panel lines sprayed in, and one side of the fuselage now has many rivets burnt in :D

When you come to Chocky's Winter Warmer, I can lend you an exact colour chart with samples for RLM colours.
Clearly the tail probably from another aircraft in light blue bolted onto an F8 in late war scheme colours .
Probably Fus grey 75. Green 82 over sprayed with Brown 81. Yellow 04 and tail section in good old 76.
Nice heavy metal.

Correct Chocky, got the colours from hyperscale with this model, :D not long till the winter warmer.

Blisters now made from Chemiwood, and fitted into position.
