Walter Barlow

Postby ROGER BALE » December 29th, 2011, 9:32 am

It is with sadness that Walter Barlow passed away this week, He and the boys attended most shows and were very helpful to many pilots. He will be missed by those who knew him.

Very sorry to hear that, especially at this time. My thoughts are with his family at this sad time.

Shocking news, I only had an email off his son Arthur the other day wishing me all the best for 2012 from the whole family and how they were looking forward to the show season again. My thought are with the family at this difficult time.

Sad news indeed, I too just replied to a festive email from the family. Thoughts are with his family and friends. RIP Walter.

thank you for all your kind words, for any one who would like to come but hasnt contacted us the funeral is on monday the 9th at 12.45 at queensbury chapple of rest on neson street queensbury.
we were finishing projects and prepairing models for the seminar at bradford just before christmas, also deciding what we needed to do to be ready for the season opener at east kirby, he was such a stalwart of the hobby and fountain of knowlage having done aeromodeling for over 60 years in most areas of the hobby, we cant confirm been able to get to many of the shows not having any transport at the moment but we will try.
possably see some of you at the bradford seminar its the closest to us

thank you all for your help advice, support and guidance with the large models
