for the past couple of weeks I have been chipping away at it, bit here bit there, the aim now is to have her static at East Kirkby with possibly some internal work to do and engine final test stages.

Yellow 14 at last, all the painting is now complete, weathering started, and exhaust smoke staining to do, the next pics that I load up will be it completed in 2 weeks time

More dirt. Paynes grey oil thinned right down with white spirit. Rub off with T shirt.
Neat Paynes grey here and there. Add ultra marine for exhaust bloom. FW's always very dark because they ran hot.
Avoid the airbrush at all costs. My twopenneth.
Anyway she looks ace old chap.

Well it all started way back with that free FW plan of mine that Boddo published, remember.
Hats off Willy you've surpassed any FW that I built.

This aircraft has been moving on slowly due to me thinking ahead all the time making moulds, making changes as i go, sorting lazer cutting, and foam wings, but at last she is nearly done and will be displayed static at East Kirkby, below i have spent hours upon hours working on the pilot, the head is injection moulded with foam and comes out lighter that a Rich Tea biscuit it's a plastic body but at a later date should have a padded body with clothes, see what Mr Bones thinks I have named the Pilot after my late Grandfather Conrad Pflanz.

Nice skin tone Graham, looking good, mine is the young version, filler in the cracks changed the hairline and pour in the silicon liquid.

Weighed the 190 today, no engine, receiver, tank, but all wing servos in with bomb and rack comes out at 21lbs so far,well pleased with that.
