Loving your Hampden Mike. Here is my Handley Page offering, trying to get it displayable for Gaydon.

Fantastic, the Hampden is one if my favourite aircraft.
I dug one up in 1990, untouched since it crashed into the side of the hilltop village I used to live in.

Keep at it Willy, it looks like the Yak 50 is going to be a popular kit.

Good thread to start Stu, look what it's brought out. There's obviously plenty going on out there.

Theres some great stuff out there and it's good that this thread is working. Attached is a picture of the very early stages of my 1/3 scale Sopwith Dolphin for the Dawn Patrol. It will be at Gaydon, not sure how far I'll get with it before then but I'm hoping it will be on it's wheels.

Steady on Stewart!

Don't you go rustling up a DP mount in a couple of weeks! It's taken me years

Hopefully there will be 6 wing panels hanging on to the fuselage like this at Gaydon

Now that the event season is drawing to an end it is time to get stuck into my latest build. I actually started the model at the begining of the season but with so many events and models to maintain it has been slow progress over the summer.
For those of you who do not recognise it, the model is a 1/2 scale replica of a Penrose Pegasus. I thought one more vintage glider was called for before the next project, which will have a motor on it !!!

The TJD display team as ever are building new models to add to the fleet (or replace lost ones :( ). Currently on the building board are 2 Hurricanes, 2 spitfires, 2 bearcats, a P47 and a Corsair.

My current project is a Ziroli Bearcat which which was going well until the paint supplier gave us 1 part of a 2 pack paint but didn't tell us!!!! The whole model was sprayed then it all had to come off again! That was a while ago and its now back in colour again and waiting for some lettering to go on! The pic is of it once the paint was removed!

Get cracking Gregg, that looks like it's ready for the Moki 150 radial that Father Christmas will be bringing you. I'm guessing he's brining it this year as he clearly forgot last year.
