Yes it's built from my kit Richard.
This one will only need fuel and a receiver to make it go.
Thanks for your comments :D

Nearly there now on latest client build.
I'll be putting it all together soon, so will make sure I get some decent 'airfield' shots before she goes to her new home.
Apart from fitting the customers receiver, this project is finished to literally add fuel and turn the prop over.

J EJ . nearly there now, all fitted out and together for the first time in a while.
Just waiting for the return of retracts and wheels to refit and she's off to her new home.
I will post some pictures of the final assembly before shipping.

Can't get used to this camouflage lark.
All Spitfires should be blue.

Just fitted some Hispano cannon as one of the last jobs on JEJ.
Supplied by Houghton Classic van and bike restorations.
Highly effective they are too having had design input from Stewart Clifford.
I love my sub contractors... Saves me hours.

Just the modded retracts to go in from the machine shop and she's done.

So here she is ready for delivery to latest customer.
All she lacks is a receiver and the fuel to fly.
Ironically JEJ was the first colour scheme I ever put on a model Spitfire way back in 1982.
I wonder if Johnnie Edgar Johnson would think I'd done his old friend justice.

Photos taken in the Supermarine works hanger, thanks to UK weather playing ball at minus 1 and gale force winds.
I came straight back in from the runway as I couldn't hold the model down and take pictures as well.
It better buck its ideas up this summer.!!

Evo 80cc power. 1:3.9 112'' span ( 1/4 scale) weighing 40.5 lbs another Flying Legends Spitfire ready to grace the skies.

Absolutely stunning mike. Looks like a turnout from Duxford, the customer will be "over the moon" I'm sure, would have used a more appropriate expression but sure to have been told off if I had !!
