Seeing as you asked mr B!!

My wing and tail fairings are now slightly raised!!

Most of todays work was on the cowl. I hadn't cut the holes for the plug or silencer. I've also made it 2 pieces so that I'll be able to get it on easily with the fan thing in the front. My cockpit is also 2 pieces so I spent time making sure both bits fit well. The front section will be permanent and the rear removable.

Next job is blow some primer over the lining tape then add some rivets

Yup!!

I also added the trim tabs to the rudder and ailerons today too. The rudder one is a bit odd...

wowzers David, it"s a bit overkill but would sound amazing!!

Your retracts look great. Any chance of knocking up scale tail wheel forks?

Will have a look at the tail wheel Greg, I need one for mine. Here are my mains ready for dummy brake hub and scale wheel hubs. The Moki is a no go in reality, it was only done to see if it would fit which it does but would not be able to run as the tappets are holding it central and mods to clear the tappets would be needed or Chris to stretch his mold :D . The retracts are for a much bigger B17 project as you can see from the pic as comparison the spare side frames against the Yak unit. My Yak build starts on Monday :)

Its a big incentive when its for your own model, finished article for my yak, I have a nylon nose wheel block somewhere but you can never find bits when you need them so I knocked up an alloy one, a bit heavier on the bracket and the 6 mm shaft is OTT but you said I would need some tail weight.
