With the greenly being able to use a plethoria of differant engines, for various tasks, i think you have to look to the future, and what airframes will be taking your fancy, you can always throttle back, but if the powers not there, your limited,
The Zenoahs, being old tech (but still the best out there for plodability) take some cowling in, ok for the greenly, but can be difficult to get in a tight cowl, they are tough, reliable, and VERY long lasting, and these days, the motors come in electronic ignition, so starting is no probs for the owner, But, there are more powerfull out there, ive just ordered a DLE 34 CC motor, angled plug, rear intake, rear exhaust, its got all the attributes for a cowled install, i still love my zenoahs, but there is now much more choice, it needs homework, as for the 45 V 62, they are the same physical size, i would go for the 62, but rev limit it, until you are used to the power

Building the Greenley with the 88" wingspan would it be a good choice putting a Zenoha 45cc engine up front, what prop would you fit with an engine of this size, and would it be a good choice to add flaps as well?

Geoff,

Simply they're robust lithium batteries that have the benefits of lipo cells & the added advantage of needing no voltage regulation, with the robustness of nicads.

Have a read of these for some more info, and a UK supplier picked at random...As always with these kinds of things, Google is your friend...

Are the Greenley plans also available in .dwg format that you can open in CAD software?

The Greenley plans are not available for general release in .dwg format as in the past people have then modified the drawing and passed it on as a genuine Greenley.
The .pdf drawings are correctly sized and will print out correctly as they are.

If you contact me and explain why you want a .dwg drawing we can have a discussion and I may release a file to you.

Have sent you a PM, I have no intention of modifying your plan, and will be building direct from .pdf plans that are available from the Ghost Squadron website.

Once building starts would like to post some photos to show the progression and ask any questions that I may have, when posting or attaching photos in a message, are there any limitations on the size of the photo in pixels and size of the file itself?

PDF plans downloaded and printed out on A4 sheets, now being tapped together in suitable sizes, i.e. tailplane, fin, formers, fuselage, wings etc.
