FUtaba 10cg 2.4 ghz

Postby Richard Sullivan » December 8th, 2013, 1:29 pm

I have the above set but am experiencing problems with the failsafe system
I set the servo up on top end and tick over pos with adjustments to the end point or the adjusters on the side .Then i switch on the failsafe, Test out and find that because i have adjusted the parameters ie ( slider or the endpoint ) the throttle will not go to tick over it will reduce down but if you have the throttle on tick over and switch the radio off it will cut the engine not leave it ticking over ?? Do i need to have the radio serviced or is this the way the 10 CG is pre set ??

Hi Richard,
Just checked my 10CG with the same type RX and it works ok. My end points are set near 100% and the fail safe is set FS not NOR, it may pay to try and set the FS first then move the end points when i set my end points less than 100% i got very limited travel on the servo in FS mode it didn't close all the way down to stop the engine.

Once i have the motor set up i can move the control arm when i zero the server and it is ok but i think there is an error with the radio also on other airplanes when they are set up it appears to move off tick over and increase
