1/3 scale full bodied pilot

Postby Stuart Morris » January 26th, 2014, 5:05 pm

I have been looking for a 1/3 pilot, full bodied, to replace my ageing one in my Spacewalker for a few years now. I don't want to pay silly money, e.g. £180. My pilot is a 'Pete's pilot' from the 90's. Any information would be useful. Thank you.

Hi Stuart

If you haven't found a suitable pilot for your Spacewalker, I should be able to help.

I make a wide range of pilots, including full body 1/3 scale. You can have a browse here
http://www.perfect-pilots.co.uk

I hand make all my pilots to order. The price of a 1/3 scale full body "standard" pilot, wearing fabric trousers and a real leather jacket, is £130-00.
I also make bespoke pilots.

I attach an example of a bespoke pilot that I've just made - thought you might like to see him - he's not on the website yet.

Please let me know if you need any more information. It's best to email me, using the link on the website.

Thanks
Regards
Wendy

Dear Wendy,
Thank you for your reply.
Your pilots are very good and would grace any aircraft. Unfortunately I was not looking for a pilot in this price range, my Spacewalker is semi scale and nearly 20 years old and so is the pilot. I was looking for a more budget pilot. I feel at this point I cannot justify spending so much on a 20 year old model.

Best regards, Stuart Morris

I know what you're looking for, an ex-Pete's pilot. Email me & I'll give you his address.

Hi Stuart,
I'ts taken me ages to get back on this site, lets hope I am able to stay logged-on.
A third scale Pete's Pilot should be available from :-
Roger Hawkins
Broadaford Farm
12 Carter Road
Ivybridge
Devon
Telephone 07798772711
He bought all Pete's moulds and equipment when he retired with a view to continuing the business.
I Hope this information is still of some use to you and that his prices have stayed as reasonable as Pete's were.

Thank you all for your help, I have been off the grid for some time due to Microsoft errors.
