Thinking of a hurricane

Postby Alan Cantwell 1131 » May 3rd, 2014, 4:22 pm

Looking round for something different, I found the reeves 1/45scale. Hurricane , everything seems reasonably priced, including the retracts, does anyone have any experience of this kit??? I wonder why he made it 1/45 scale? 1/4 would have been more interesting, Just looking for a future build for jonesey :D

There are couple of 1/45 scale builds on the rcscalebuilder site. Mick does parts for a 1/4 scale Hurricane but it doesn't look like he does the canopy and cowl etc? You could use Richard Rawle's Hurricane parts (cowl, canopy) and Mick's parts kit?

Hi alan
Mick made the 1/4.5 scale hurricane to quality weight wise for competition.
I have the 1/4 kit / laser part's and looking really forwarded to starting her
Richard rawle cowl sounds good.
But until fit ?
The rest not sure yet

Would be nice to see a squadron of 1/4 scale hurricane's
And spits at the shows

Thanks mark
