. However, you are correct at there being no SARO section. Theres a few topics on the RC forums but nothing on paper yet. I shall keep searching. If i remember rightly there is a group down in Solent that specialise in SARO history. I'll see if I can hunt down some contact details and take it from there. 
of if you have the general exterior dimensions and scale of the craft is there equations to tell you how many formers it needs within the design? How many stringers should be used or even the maximum stress that can be applied between bulkheads? I'm aware of model aerofoil design, full size aerofoil sections and how they should be used for best performance. The drawings would definately let me produce a better model for FSX and satisfy my curiosity as this must have been a fantastic aircraft to see in the flesh but as for producing a large model that is another story
