Just off Junction 21 or is it 21A of the M6, sorry I can never remember, anyway full details will be available of how to get to it when it is finished. Not long now as it is really coming along fast. We recon a few more good weekend working on it and it should be ready for all types of models. Lets hope the weather plays ball.
There's an old airfield in South Warwickshire that may be a possibility is Atherstone on Stour airfield, not that far from Long Marston and Wellesbourne. I don't know anything more but anyone from that part of the world may have some more info/contacts.
Yeh, go on say it.... "your a bit late on this one". Well I've only just joined the LMA recently at the Elvington show and I've had a lot of doctors and hospital appointments since. (my excuse and I'm sticking to it) Firstly, for those who know me, I've been away for too long and want to get back into it by offering any help I can at the new field. My disability restricts me but, what ever I can do to help out, I'm available almost any time/day..... Just let me know. Now for the big question......... Where is it and how do I get to it??? Looking forward to getting together with you all again soon and doing what I can to help
And for those who dont know Dave, he is/was, i hope, the guy at Bury metro club who, despite his disability, put us all to shame by giving every event, his 100% contribution, grass cutting, barbecuing, and forever smiling, and helping out, he will be a grand contributer to the LMA
Thanks Alan, you haven't seen my good side yet :-) I left Bury as well and have had to give up fixed wing flying, hand's don't do what brain tell's em so gone onto flying DJI Phantom and messing with leccy and nitro cars....... at least they wont drop out the sky if I have to let go the sticks See you all later.... next week poss
