Hooray !!! Congratulations Dave on getting a bit of recognition for us on the One Show. For years when I was on the committee I tried to get coverage on various events but the media thought we were all nerds flying balsa wood and tissue planes on bits of string. Well done, I hope the coverage gets a bit of interest from a few more youngsters who we need in the hobby. Dave Hayfield

This needs to be followed up by inviting Mike Bushell of BBC Breakfast to Cosford, putting him on the BMFA simulator and then on a buddy cable on the Friday.

Some excellent PR there and not a word about 'boys with toys' thank goodness. The eye in the sky film was impressive.

Nice commentary from DJ

Nicely put together. Glad to see the boss looking so well but hope he is not going to be wearing that makeup at all the shows next year

Thanks for all the comments guys---it took two full days at Ccosford and one afternoon at my home filming for just over 4 mins telly time----but it seems to have come across fine for modelling pr---and not one moan on the media about Drones etc---yet anyway

Well done Dave!
This is exactly the kind of promotion our hobby needs, excellent coverage of what the hobby gives from the hobbyist, family and public viewpoints. Had loads of people asking at work about the Cosford show and dates for next year so looks like your spot has generated some interrest!

Great bit of PR Dave. Well done to all concerned. Nice bit of air to air footage of both the Vulcan and the pyrotechnics included care of the camera drone used.
