Hi all
Next year if all goes to plan i shall be kiting the hawker typhoon 106 inch span which shall be built up fuselage with slab sides and lazer cut formers, it will have a glass cowl, a canopy either car door type or bubble, with a 4 piece foam wing, no price details exist untill first kit is available, below is the build to date, there are two on the go this is my one, and Ken Bones is building the other, there will be a build to view on the link below.
hope you like it
all the best
Chris

Of course, as the need to put pilots in Tiffy seats progresses towards Operation Stripey Wings next year, we will need to relax class and education background and take on some non commissioned types..... bloody hard cheese for the Squadron old chap.
Still , at least it will lessen the odds of catching a packet from the Bosh ack ack.
TTFN old chap.

You probably know ,there is a full size tempest being restored for flying. Have heard on the gossip channel that they are waiting for the engine to be returned from USA :?:

i know theres a bristol centaurus engined mk5 to fly soon,,MW763,,,,,Also kermit weeks has EJ693 which is a tempest 2,, the best looking in my opinion with the napier saber engine,,,,this one seems the most likey to move under its own power with that type of engine.....i did here the late nick grace had one or two tempest"s with a collection of saber engines,,all of which were zero hour units...anyway i cant wait to add one of these super looking kits to my large scale warbird collection, the tiff is a lovely flying aircraft in large scale....balance can be an issue though.,,hats of to all involved....
