No ,I am not a tailor,I have a 7ft span Miles Sparrowhawk, made by Seagull. It flies nice, but the design of the undercarriage could be better. After two or three landings the trouser leg fairings are Kaput.I no longer have a source of lithoplate, but I am wondering about using thick, semi rigid polythene sheet. The fairings are a straight wrapparound,so no moulding required.I would hope that the material would flex and then spring back.Any other ideas would be appreciated.
