Oratex v Solatex

Postby paul needham » November 19th, 2018, 3:29 pm

Afternoon all, just looking for your comments regarding Oratex, I have used Solatex in the past with good results, unfortunately not available now.
Is there any noticeable difference between the two coverings ?
Does Oratex sag in hot sun ?
Is there any difference in strength or weight ?
What paints have you used on it ?
Thanks in advance, Paul.

Solartex is available. Production has started again but it is only available direct, not via shops. Contact Solarfilm direct for more info.

I have found Oratex to be better than Solartex. John- I was told they were only selling off old stock- do you know this for definite?

Chaps, the owners of Solartex are only selling off their stock as they have tried every avenue to sell the business but no takers. I spoke to one of the owners myself & that is their position, hence once stock has gone then it's gone.
