Paint Masks

Postby John Greenfield » May 20th, 2019, 8:27 am

Hi All

Can someone please recommend a company or individual who can cut some paint masks for our (Ghost Squadron) Mosquito projects. We need wing roundel masks 8" dia and fuselage registration letters and roundels 6" high.

Thanks

John

Sometimes he takes a while to reply John - it’s ok if you’re not in a hurry

A bit of up front investment required, a vinyl cutter is well worth having and does most things down to about 12mm. Any less than that, a laser printer (waterproof ink) and decal paper

Lee at Pyramid Models is my normal go to guy but spoke to him and he will not cut Roundel masks. OK for the lettering though and he does a good job on them and I have been using his services for years. First time I have ever asked him about roundels though, and I was not aware he does not do them so still looking for someone else to help out.

Give this guy a ring,

I have had some nice decals from him and he does stuff for full size a Newark Air Museum.
