1/10th Scale HP.80 Victor

Postby Benjamin Gittus-Nash » January 5th, 2010, 11:52 pm

Well its been a while since I last posted here! Im hoping that this is rather a more sensible project to undertake! Firstly id like to point out that I cant fly model aircraft at all! so im looking for a good pilot to eventually fly my aircraft.

As there is already one victor in your club, I have decided to build a model of the Victor prototype WB771. Ive started by purchasing the set of 1/72 Arthur Bentley Victor drawings which happily also include profiles for the smaller B.1 intakes and the longer wing outline. I have had these drawings enlarged to 1/10th scale, so effectively I now have a set of plans! i intend to use the profiles on the plans to build the aircraft fuselage, however im uncertain as to what to do concerning the wings? Would the scale aerofoil be suitable for this scale?

Some pics (I know its not much, yet ;) )

I am not a member of the LMA currently though would like to join, If its a daft question I apologise in advance but, is there any way to join online?

Id like to invite any constructive criticism and more specifically im looking really for all the help that this club could provide to help me learn :)

Many thanks

Ben Gittus-Nash
