Stuff you never thought you would use.

Postby Dave Hayfield » April 1st, 2020, 3:35 pm

There are always bits of models pushed into cupboards and hidden behind more recent toys in your workshop and are usually forgotten.....but now due to this virus creating boredom I started tidying my workshop. I found things that I just couldn't throw away, a pair of Yak 18 wings and stabiliser, a repaired carbon fibre u/c, the fin from a 1/2 scale Russian Hamlet (yes, half scale), a Wackey Racers pilot and cockpit and a spare Zenhoa 62 which I wasn't going to dispose of. My stock of wood provided the liteply slab sided fuselage.
It may not look special but I flew it before we were told not to and it handles superbly as a fully aerobatic model.
Bye the way because of its fully aerodynamic shape it is known as 'THE BOX'
